So here I am starting something new. Let's hope I can do this. So HI EVERYONE!!!! Anyway, today is just a typical day for me. What is a typical day? A typical day for me is waking up on the couch (no I haven't moved out yet), getting Lil-man fed if his dad hasn't already, and hanging with him in the morning. I sneak on the computer when he is engrossed in building or coloring. Of course that doesn't last long because he wants mommy's attention. Oh and diaper changes. I am sooo over those, but the part after, yeah that's fun. He jumps on the bed (that I no longer sleep on) and bounces around slamming into me for BIG HUGS. Cute huh? Yup, until his hard has hell head makes contact with my throat, or nose, or forehead. Yup painful.
Right now it's lunchtime, and what is Lil-man eating? Nothing. Why? Because he doesn't want to eat. Is just refusing. I give him a half hour max before he is asking for something to eat. I have a few minutes because one of his all time favorite shows is on. Yo Gabba Gabba. Seriously? I can't stand that show. It annoys the crap out of me. Though I would gladly watch that till I die than have Barney playing. Don't get me started on that evil dinosaur. Just creepy. So anyway he's engrossed and I get to breathe.
And what is it about skipping naptime? Why do kids not get that we stay at home parents need that time to do stuff that we can't get done because they are demanding our attention to go "bounce" on the bed??? I thought this part wasn't going to happen for another couple of years. Which brings me to the next fun part, looking for work after being a stay at home parent for 4 years. Not forever, but long enough to have been out of the workforce for quite a while. It will work out, just got to figure it out. Any suggestions would be gladly accepted though.
Ok, that's it for now, but hey it's only my first post. Things will get...crazy. Just wait and see ;)
